Overview
As a Staff Quality Management System Analyst, you will play a critical role in shaping and sustaining the organizations quality management system across global semiconductor operations. You will contribute to the execution and continual improvement of the QMS to ensure compliance with international standards (ISO 9001) and stringent customer-specific requirements. Operating within a fabless business model, you will lead cross-functional quality initiatives, provide oversight of regulatory and customer audit readiness, and serve as a key quality advisor across the product lifecycle. This position reports to the Director, Quality Assurance & Failure Analysis
Responsibilities & Competencies
Job Duties
- Drive the strategic execution and governance of the QMS to align with ISO 9001, JEDEC, AEC-Q, VDA, AIAG, and applicable standards
- Define and oversee execution of enterprise-level audit programs, document control practices, and regulatory compliance frameworks
- Act as the primary interface for external audits (e.g., customer, third-party, certification) and lead internal audit planning, training, and effectiveness reviews
- Maintain an up-to-date and scalable QMS documentation structure aligned with corporate and functional goals
- Lead the Product Change Notification (PCN) process, ensuring timely, structured, and standard-compliant communication of product changes to customers and partners
- Partner with design, packaging, supply chain, and external manufacturing teams (foundries, OSATs) to embed quality objectives and requirements into the end-to-end product lifecycle
- Facilitate root cause analysis, risk mitigation, and systemic corrective/preventive action planning for product and process non-conformities
- Develop and own quality KPIs and operational dashboards (e.g., customer complaints, audit outcomes, defect rates, CAPA effectiveness)
- Provide key insights through trend analysis and risk-based reporting to drive executive and operational decisions
- Leverage Agile PLM, QMS tools, and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for digital quality data management and performance visibility
- Lead QMS training strategies and delivery, ensuring that quality practices are standardized and embedded throughout the organization
- Mentor team members to build internal quality knowledge and capability
Competencies
- Advanced knowledge of quality systems, standards, and tools: ISO 9001, IATF 16949, JEDEC, AEC-Q, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA.
- Demonstrated success in managing internal and external audits, quality governance, and compliance readiness.

Qualifications (Requirements)
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering or Quality or related field or equivalent
- 8+ years of progressive quality management experience in the semiconductor or automotive sectors, preferably in a fabless manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Agile PLM, QMS platforms, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Certified Lead Auditor (IATF 16949 or ISO 9001).
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
- Familiarity with AI-based or advanced digital tools for process automation and quality insights
