Job Summary
High-performance product team in Supermicro is seeking talented Senior System Product Engineer who can lead the technical collateral development of in-house server system products. This individual will have the opportunity to define and implement latest data center and server technologies, and to create proof of concepts and technical feature paper presentations to differentiate Supermicro product through online and at various industry events. This individual will also be the go-to person for product managers and system engineers to be the subject of matter expert in application benchmarks specifically in network, database, and virtualization.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Supermicro is looking for a System Engineer who is experienced with server industry TS/FAE experience. In this role, you will utilize your professional knowledge and communication skills to collaborate efficiently for tech issue coordination.
- System Engineer are expected to draft, review and validate system product spec. or features.
- Study new technologies for implementation into products.
- Benchmark product performance.
- Support issue and failure analysis
- New Tech/product/bonepile repair knowledge share with production team.
Qualifications
- 5+ years hands-on experience with Server products.
- Education: BS/MS EE, Computer Science or equivalent working experience.
- Capable to investigate root cause and can cross-check for bugs clarification.
- Capable to perform benchmark or testing and present result.
- Good for tech presentation, communication and documentation skills.
- Capable of studying new technologies for implementation into products.
- Understand the market of Server, Storage, Datacenter Cloud applications
