Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Software Principal Product Owner, validate reference architectures, provide technical product SME leadership
- Communicate with customers, technical questions/concerns
- Work with sales and Solution Architects to visit customers and understand technical requirements
- Collaborate with development team to drive end-user stories
- This position will require travel; periodically visit with customers and attend trade shows
- - Coordinate SCC development recourse, Prioritize tasks, Gitlab/Project board issue and task management, Product release management, Software features specification writing(Form 299), Customer issues management.
- Cross collaborates among all Business Units within Supermicro
- Work closely with Software Product Engineer, scoping, discovery, schedule
- Collaboration with system lab validation teams
- Collaboration with PM Head of Cloud Management Solutions
- Collaboration with Senior Software PM of Cloud AI Software
- Collaboration with GM of Cloud AI Software
Qualifications
- Bachelor or master's degree in CE/CS/EE or equivalent with at least 10 years hands-on experience in data center/server related fields.
- Strong working knowledge of Project Management. (PMP certification would be plus).
- Strong working knowledge of Redfish API.
- Strong working server knowledge of BMC or BIOS related would be plus.
- Working knowledge of Scrum and Large-Scale Scrum framework would be plus.
- Working knowledge of Scrum Master would be plus.
- In-depth knowledge of disaggregated Infrastructure constructs.
- Strong knowledge of BaaS, MaaS IaaS.
- Deep understanding of day 1 and day 2 Data Center operations.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills are a must, able to communicate effectively with customers or related stakeholders to do the requirements interview, answer questions, and receive feedback.
- Working knowledge of Container technology (Kubernetes/Docker), Cloud/AI knowledge would be a strong asset.
- Understanding of Angular, C, C++, JSON and Python and other coding experience would be an asset.
