Job Description

Role Overview

The Service Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting technical and financial data to support service operations, improve performance, and drive strategic decision-making. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data tools, and the ability to translate complex datasets into actionable insights for stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources (technical systems, financial records, service logs).
  • Develop dashboards and reports to monitor service performance, cost trends, and operational KPIs.
  • Perform root cause analysis on service issues and recommend corrective actions.

Financial Analysis

  • Track and analyze service-related costs, revenue streams, and profitability metrics.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for service operations.
  • Identify cost optimization opportunities without compromising service quality.

Technical Insights

  • Interpret technical data from service systems, probes, and diagnostic tools to identify patterns and anomalies.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve service reliability and efficiency.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Present findings to management and cross-functional teams in a clear, actionable format.
  • Partner with finance, operations, and technical teams to align data-driven strategies with business goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Knowledge of financial modeling, cost analysis, and budgeting principles.
  • Familiarity with technical service systems and operational data.
  • Excellent problem-solving, English communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in service operations or technical support environments.
  • Understanding of predictive analytics and statistical modeling.
  • Exposure to ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
