Job Description

Responsibilities

- Collaborate closely with the leadership team to clarify business strategies and translate them into actionable product directions and long-term roadmaps.

- Identify core problems, form product hypotheses, design MVP experiments, and define success metrics.

- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and the needs of the POS / F&B / retail ecosystem to develop differentiated product strategies.

- Leverage usage data and Voice of Customer (VOC) insights to plan and prioritize the product backlog; write user flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

- Oversee multiple product modules simultaneously (e.g., POS front office, back-office management, inventory, membership/loyalty, reporting, payments integrations).

- Drive cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Design, QA, Customer Success, Sales, and Implementation teams to ensure smooth delivery and minimize execution risks.

- Establish and track product KPIs; work with Operations and Customer Success teams to improve adoption, retention, customer satisfaction, and system performance.

- Support enterprise clients by evaluating project requirements and defining the balance between custom development and standardized product features.

Required Qualifications

- Strong ability to quickly narrow down problem spaces, identify root causes, and define clear product goals.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of aligning diverse stakeholders (engineering, business teams, leadership, customers).

- Solid knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies with demonstrated experience driving iterative improvements.

- Proven experience owning product planning, feature design, and end-to-end release cycles.

- Understanding of data flows, system architecture, and engineering logic (coding is not required, but you should communicate effectively with technical teams).

- Skilled in coordinating cross-functional projects and managing risks.

Required Experience

- 5+ years of product management experience in SaaS or B2B/B2C software, with ownership of product modules.

- Experience in POS, F&B, retail operations, ERP, order/inventory management, or related domains is highly preferred.

- Familiarity with API design, data synchronization, third-party payment integrations, e-invoicing, CRM, or platform-to-platform integrations.

- Able to adapt to fast-changing environments and reprioritize based on business impact.

- Capable of leading teams through ambiguity and defining measurable outcomes.

Nice-to-Have

- Experience with data tools: SQL, Python, GA, Data Studio, or equivalent analytics tools.

- Background in O2O (onlineoffline integration), restaurant POS, fresh-grocery retail, or multi-branch retail management.

- Experience leading platformization or modular system redesign projects.

- Knowledge of SEA F&B markets is a plus (keep this if your product serves both regions).
