Your Job

We are looking for a talented Sr. Product Development Engineer to help design and develop the next generation of High Power connectors and solutions for Taiwan's leading ODM customers.

In this role, you will be a key contributor bridging product innovation, engineering excellence, and customer engagement—working closely with PSBU's global front end team to accelerate our growth in the High Power market.

This is a great opportunity for engineers who enjoy hands on development, end to end ownership, and building high impact solutions used by world class technology customers.

Our Team

You will be part of the CCS PSBU organization, collaborating with colleagues across regions and disciplines—including engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, sales, and customer teams.

This role involves frequent interaction with internal and external partners to solve complex technical challenges and deliver high value solutions to customers.

What You Will Do

  • Lead new product development projects—from concept, design, validation to mass production.
  • Conduct product feasibility reviews with cross functional teams.
  • Build BOM, product specifications, drawings, component specifications, and FMEA.
  • Execute engineering sample builds and manage product qualification activities.
  • Lead new product first trial runs and introduction to manufacturing.
  • Develop DV/PV test plans and perform destructive and failure analysis.
  • Collaborate with customers, sales, and marketing to define high level product concepts.
  • Provide technical support during customer meetings and discussions.
  • Follow up on ECR/ECN and maintain up to date engineering documentation.
  • Support Molex initiatives including TQM, Six Sigma, ISO, EHS, and continuous improvement.
  • Perform other engineering duties assigned by management.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


We are looking for someone who brings strong engineering depth and cross-functional collaboration skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in product development, engineering, manufacturing, or quality.
  • Ability to communicate in English (spoken and written).
  • Proficient in 2D/3D drawing tools.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across teams.
  • Ability to travel locally and internationally for customer or manufacturing support when needed.

What Will Put You Ahead


  • Experience in High Power electronics.
  • Knowledge of AQP tools (FMEA, SPC, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean methodologies.
  • Direct customer-facing engineering experience.
  • Experience in molding, stamping, plating processes.
  • Experience working with Taiwan ODM Power customers.
  • Background in IT/Telecom/Datacenter applications.
