Job Description
- Support internal and customer delivery projects
- Become a SME on supported products and services
- Work closely with Project Management team to increase quality of project deliveries to clients.
- Provide training, knowledge transfer and ongoing support to TNS Global team
- Provide detailed documentation on all projects
Experience :
- 8+ years of experience in a network environment supporting a global IP network, within Financial Services. Direct experience troubleshooting IP network issues supporting financial markets and applications
- Direct experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco, Juniper, and Arista routers and switches in a high bandwidth, and ultra-low latency production environment and developing multiple options to address complex problems
- Multiple protocol troubleshooting experience (MPSL, BGP,IS-IS, OSPF, EIGRP, HSRP, NAT)
- Experience with multiple hardware interfaces 1/10/25/40GBASE Ethernet
- IP multicast and FIX order routing troubleshooting experience
- 8+ years of experience supporting managed hosting / server environments
- Experience and familiarity with vendor case management and escalation process for Cisco, Arista, and Juniper
- Solid written and verbal skills with Ability to create and maintain technical design and support documentation
- Direct customer service experience required
- Flexibility around working hours in support of business requirements (may include bank holiday working etc)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio)
- CCNP or CCIE
- JNCIP or JNCIE
