Job Description

We&aposre looking for a highly skilled Senior Hardware Engineer to lead the development of embedded computing products from initial concept to final production. In this high-impact role, you&aposll be a key driver of our hardware designs, working closely with various teams to bring innovative products to life.

What You&aposll Do

  • Lead the Design Process: Drive the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept and system design to production. You&aposll create hardware specifications and develop comprehensive test plans.
  • Design & Development: Capture schematics using Orcad and collaborate with Layout, Mechanical, and Signal Integrity engineers to complete complex designs.
  • System Bring-Up: Bring up new systems and perform in-depth engineering validation in the lab, ensuring product performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate & Troubleshoot: Work closely with cross-functional teams, address challenging technical problems, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. You&aposll also be a direct point of contact for customers, providing technical insights and support.
  • Manage Logistics: Drive hardware builds and manage procurement processes to keep projects on schedule.

What You&aposll Bring

  • Experience: At least 4 years of hardware engineering experience, with 7+ years being highly desirable.
  • Hands-on Skills: Strong hands-on experience in board design, schematic capture, PCB layout instructions, and signal integrity.
  • Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with design tools, including Cadence Orcad and Allegro.
  • Technical Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of both basic interfaces (I2C, SMBUS, SPI, UART, USB) and high-speed interfaces (PCIe, DDR, Display, and Network).
  • Power Design: Experience with DC-DC step-down converter design.
  • System Experience: Hands-on experience with x86/Arm Servers and their subsystems.
  • Lab & Debugging: Proficiency with lab equipment, system bring-up, and design validation. You must have excellent debugging and analytical skills.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and customers.

Bonus Skills

  • Operating Systems: Familiarity with Linux and various scripting languages.
