Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of high-performance X86 server and GPU platform hardware.
  • Create detailed schematics, hierarchical sub-designs, PCB layouts, and BOMs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, firmware, CPLD, MCU and validation engineers to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
  • Design review and approve design documents, schematics, and layouts.
  • Ensure designs meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans to validate hardware performance and reliability.
  • Debug and resolve hardware issues, working closely with validation and QA teams.
  • Optimize designs for manufacturability and best cost efficiency.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test procedures, and user manuals.
  • Present design reviews and project updates to stakeholders and management.
  • Provide technical support to customers and field application engineers.
  • Address and resolve customer issues related to hardware design and performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and is willing to support the business travel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering related is preferred.
  • Typically 5-10 years experience.
  • Proficiency in circuit design (digital, analog, power) and PCB layout.
  • Hands-on experience with industry-standard design and verification tools.
  • Strong debugging skills using CScript tool, RMT, FW update tool and the lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, TDR and logic / Protocol analyzers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
  • Ability to effectively communicate product team, design proposals and negotiate options at management levels.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic on working in fast-paced environment
  • Additional Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of EMC and energy regulations.
  • Experience with high-speed signal design and power integrity analysis.
  • Familiarity with server architecture and data center environments.
  • Experience in Verilog top-level coding, CPLD design is preferable.
