Key responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive global sourcing strategy for assigned hardgoods categories
Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and relationship management, fostering partnerships with key manufacturers globally
Drive significant year-over-year cost savings and value improvement initiatives without compromising quality or supply security
Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the supply base and raw material markets
Collaborate closely with R&D, Engineering, and Quality Assurance teams to onboard new suppliers and ensure product specifications are met
Manage the entire contract lifecycle with suppliers, ensuring terms are favorable and risks are mitigated
Proactively identify and manage supply chain risks, developing robust contingency plans

Role requirements

A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field
10+ years of progressive strategic sourcing experience, with a focus on hardgoods
Demonstrated expertise in managing sourcing categories with a global supplier base, particularly in Asia
Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, cost drivers, and quality control standards within the hardgoods industry
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
