Sourcing Engineer

l. Position Summary:

ADAM TECH is seeking a Sourcing Engineer with strong market insight, cross-functional collaboration skills, and strategic supply chain thinking to join our rapidly growing global team.

In this pivotal role, you will be positioned at the front line of supply chain decision-making, leading supplier development, cost analysis, material RFQs, and project coordination, while working closely with Engineering, Quality, Sales, and related teams to build a robust and competitive supply chain.

ll. Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct supplier sourcing, investigation, evaluation, onboarding, and performance assessment; eliminate risks of single-source or overly fragmented supplier structures.

2. Perform RFQ price comparisons among at least three suppliers (different manufacturers or distributors) to ensure competitive pricing and timely submission.

3. Request and follow up on samples according to specifications and requirements from Sales or Engineering, ensuring timely progress.

4. Conduct market research, including second-source and value engineering (VE) analysis to track price changes; coordinate supplier cost reviews and achieve cost-reduction targets.

5. Support Material Control and Quality teams in managing supplier delivery issues and quality abnormalities.

6. Integrate and optimize qualified suppliers, maintain strong supplier relationships, and ensure a competitive supply chain structure.

7. Support product development projects, follow up on progress, and complete other assignments requested by supervisors.

III. Qualifications & Experience:

1. 25 years of experience in procurement, quality, engineering, or related fields.

2. Ability to read and interpret mechanical 2D drawings.

3. Proficient in written English communication; TOEIC score of 600 or above preferred.

4. Enjoys teamwork and communication with suppliers and customers; service-oriented mindset.

5. Personal attributes: proactive, eager to learn and take on challenges, high EQ, detail-oriented, strong communication and execution skills.

6. Familiar with ERP systems, Excel, and data analysis tools.
