Solution Architect

Responsibilities:

• Bridge communications between IT and business to ensure alignment of technical solutions to business goals

• Ensure solution architecture finds a balance between company-wide strategic needs and short-term tactical needs

• Ensure solution architecture is well integrated holistically and well regarded by stakeholders i.e. lines of business (LOBs), IT development / infrastructure / operations, and ensure compliance with governance processes

• Drive the enterprise architecture and roadmap definition, including standards and policies, architecture patterns, reference architectures, target state blueprints and roadmap for the relevant domain (i.e. corporate services)

• Work closely and collaborate with other architects to align and co-own the enterprise architecture strategy (for all business and technology domains)

• Lead analysis of the current IT environment to identify critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement

• Keep abreast of the latest trends in technology, industry, and corresponding business domain, analyze market trends to determine their potential impact on the company architecture landscape

• Support and promote the contiguous development of AAHK Architecture Practice

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplines with at least 6 years of relevant experience, of which at least 2 years solution architecture experience

• Professional qualification inTOGAF certification is preferred

• Proficient knowledge and working experience in back-office services of large scale organization

• Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environment

• Experience in Agile Architecture / DevOps is an advantage

• Being a motivated, self-driven individual and an experienced consultant with IT solution design background

• Excellent breadth of thinking, being able to provide pragmatic solutions that consider all relevant constraints whether technical, financial, organizational, risk or capacity based

• Understanding of aviation business and processes is an advantage

• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese with knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage

• Proficient in Microsoft Office application and project management software tools
