Software Engineer

LungTeh's software development team play a critical role in helping the company undergo a digital transformation. We work closely with other departments to understand their work processes and design solutions the help our coworkers be more productive and effective. Our plan includes creating aDigital Twin which is the digital model that describes LTS ship's geometry, material, components and production process. This will become a foundation for services that provides the information to enable optimal decision making and lays the ground work for automation.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer and internal business requirements
• Develop applications that meet those needs
• Collaborate closely with customers, management and other departments
• Document application for users and developers
• Provide user support for software and services

Requirements

• Object Oriented Programming and scripting experience
• BS or MS in computer science or equivalent experience
• Good English reading and writing skills
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and tools
• Experience with Python, MySQL/MariaDB, MSSQL and Linux is a plus
