[SMT] EHS Manager

Summary

Fully responsible for the EHS system and EHS management for Zeiss SMT Taiwan, which includes:

EHS in the areas of sales and service, customer demo centers, logistics, purchas-ing, administration, and other internal functions.

Continuous improvement of labor safety.

Further development of the EHS system in accordance with government EHS policies and regulations.

Establishing and coordinating a network of EHS contact persons across all sites.

Managing ESG related projects from headquarters and customers.

Main Task

Formulate ZEISS SMT internal ESH guidelines and plans based on the guiding principles of the TSMC Blue Book.

Plan and implement industrial safety and health management, improve workplaces, safety protection equipment, factory cleanliness, industrial safety and health risk hazard assessment operations, and reduce or control potential hazards at work.

Develop occupational disaster prevention plans and emergency response plans and guide relevant departments in their implementation.

Plan and supervise various departments in handling labor safety and health audits and management.

Plan and supervise inspections of safety and health facilities.

Plan and oversee relevant personnel to carry out inspections, regular inspections, key inspections, hazard communication, and work environment assessments.

Plan and implement labor safety and health education and training programs.

Provide relevant labor safety and health management information and suggestions.

Address other issues related to labor safety and health management.

Customer service and communications:

Documentation of customer requests.

On-site supervision in cleanroom environments.

Chemical management including1). storage, usage and decontamination. 2). SDS.

Recycle fund declaration.

Identify and assess ESG risks and opportunities across the organization and within industry.

Engage with stakeholders to promote ESG initiatives and build relationships.

Education

Masters degree in science / technical field / occupational safety and health / environmental engineering, or comparable is a plus.

Certification as a national safety engineer is preferred.

Experience

>5 years of working experience in the semiconductor industry

Licenses and declarations for Cr (CO)6 and NOCl audits, as well as EPB audits

Ability to support frequent domestic business trips

Proficient in English writing and communication skills, TOEIC>800
