About The Role
Tainan site is a joint venture (JV) between Shinkong and Solvay (called Shinsol), operated by Solvay as part of Solvay's Global Business Unit (GBU) Peroxides. This GBU is a leading supplier of products based on hydrogen peroxide.
The Tainan site produces electronic grade hydrogen peroxide. Electronic grade hydrogen peroxide is used in semiconductor manufacturing in Taiwan.
As Plant Manager of Tainan site, you will work on leading all Health, Safety and Environmental activities, managing the production of hydrogen peroxide electronic grade, and setting and achieving KPI targets to support the overall operational excellence and strategic growth of the Tainan site. You will get the opportunity to contribute to improving the site's performance through new projects and implementing sustainability and digital roadmaps and have a positive impact on safety, manufacturing cost and quality. About You
Master's degree or above in Chemical Engineering with relevant industrial experience, and a strong leadership focus. Minimum 10 years in chemical plants with proven plant/site supervision experience. Proficiency in Mandarin and English (both written and spoken) is required.
-HSE and Risk Management Expertise. Operational Leadership and Process Management.
-Technical Acumen (Peroxides Production). Strategic Planning & Execution. Industry Knowledge: Experience in Semiconductor/Electronics industry is a plus
-Quality Systems: Knowledge of ISO 9001; experience with certification audits is advantageous
-Safety-First Mindset
-Strong communication and coaching abilities; skilled in delivering clear instructions and building high-performing teams. Ability to influence organizational boundaries and foster collaboration with diverse stakeholders
-Proven capability in budget management, resource planning, and strategic site leadership
-Analytical & Strategic: Structured, results-oriented, and confident decision-maker with strong problem-solving skills
-Continuous Improvement: Lean Six Sigma and statistical data analysis skills are a plus
-Flexibility: Proactive, adaptable, and resilient in resolving issues and managing change. People Development & Empowerment.
