Set Origination Analyst H/F

In Asia-Pacific, Crdit Agricole CIB has a local presence in nine markets: Australia, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Indonesia and India. Leveraging this regional set-up and its global network, the Bank offers a comprehensive range of financial solutions and services supporting its clients thanks to its ESG and sectorial experts and all its business lines: Global Markets Division, Coverage and Investment banking, Energy and Real Asset financing, Corporate and Leverage Finance and International Trade & Transaction Banking.

You will join Crdit Agricole CIB Hong Kong and you support the SET Origination team of APAM to originate, structure and execute corporate equity derivative solutions.

Your concrete missions will be the followin :

• Maintain the SET pitch book library in order

• Actively monitor market news related to specific shares, prospects and clients (sharp share price movements, earning releases, share buyback announcements, etc.)

• Design/ update dedicated spreadsheets using company financial reports, market data service provider software (Bloomberg, etc.) and internal databases to support marketing campaigns

• Participate in drafting pitch books and termsheets for prospects and client

• Participate in drafting internal (Credit) memos

• Request volatility-based instrument pricings from the Equity Trading desk based in Paris and risk metric calculations from the Market Risk department

• Participate in pricing Equity Financing transaction

• Calculate profitability indicatorsReview and comment legal documentation.

To be eligible for a VIE:

• Be less than 28 years old
• Be postgraduate of a Master degree
• Be EU citizen

You are postgraduate of aUniversity, Business schoolwith a specialization in Finance, Financial Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting or Statistics.

Prior internships or work experience in financial markets and/or corporate finance (M&A, Private Equity, etc.) required

Hard Skills:

• Strong knowledge of the Equity market
• Good understanding of accounting principles
• Strong writing, analytical and quantitative skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel)
• Fluent French and English (Mandarin a plus)

• Curious, detail-oriented, meticulous and rigorous
• Strong entrepreneurship and team spirit willing to work independently with minimal supervision
• Hardworking with a strong sense of commitment and responsibility
