Job Description
Service Ownership & Accountability, and Operational Excellence
- Full accountability for end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity services in MOE (e.g., SOC, vulnerability management, incident response, etc).
- Own service performance, quality, and client satisfaction.
- Act as the primary operational escalation point
Risk & Compliance Management
- Proactively identify service risks (capacity, tooling gaps, analyst capability, threat exposure).
- Review risk register with mitigation plans.
- Ensure controls and processes align with contractual and compliance requirements.
- Understand the vulnerability posture and remediation status.
Client Relationship & Governance
- Establish structured governance cadence
- Present security metrics in business terms (risk impact, trend analysis, improvement roadmap).
- Manage expectations and ensure no surprises.
- Drive client and internal stakeholders confidence.
Financial & Commercial Accountability
- Understand account revenue, cost drivers, and margin
- Manage scope control and change requests
- Identify service improvement opportunities
- Ensure delivery within contracted scope
Leadership & Team Collaboration
- Coordinate across SOC analysts, IR teams, engineering, and GRC
- Escalate resource or skill gaps early
- Promote a security-first, accountable culture
- Ensure clear ownership during crisis situations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field
- 6–10 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT operations, or service delivery
- 3+ years in a service delivery or client-facing leadership role
- Strong understanding of:
- Security Operations (SOC)
- Incident response & threat management
- Vulnerability management
- Risk & compliance frameworks
- Experience managing SLAs, KPIs, and service performance metrics
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks like ITIL
- Excellent stakeholder and client management skills
- Due to project sensitivity, we can only consider Singapore Citizen
Preferred Certifications/Experiences
- CISSP
- CISM
- CISA
- ITIL Foundation / Expert
- Experience working with Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs)
- Knowledge of cloud security environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience in regulated industries (banking, healthcare, government)
- Exposure to governance frameworks like NIST Cybersecurity Framework or ISO 27001
