Server Hardware Design Engineer

The Role

We are looking for a Server Board Design Engineer to join our team. As a key contributor to designing PC Partner server product, you will be part of a board design team to work with a cross-functional team to design and deliver the good quality proposal/product to the customer. You will be responsible for creating quality and ensuring teamwork success. You and the team will continue to develop, and the product will improve. We also encourage technical innovation to showcase successes and facilitate continuous career development.

The Person

As a Server Board Design Engineer, you will work with cross-functional teams (BMC, BIOS, ME, Thermal, Layout) to deliver high-quality design. You need to have basic design experience and be familiar with server debug processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Cross-functional work ability - able to work with functions to design server product.

- Design review ability - able to provide design review results that include hardware block-level, schematic, layout and recommendations.

- Issue Investigation ability- able to debug issues found during the process, bring-up, validation, and production phases.

- Familiar with board Design tool (Cadence's Concept, Allegro )

Preferred Experience

- 3+ years of industry experience in x86 hardware and product development, and MB design experience.

- Good experience with a cross-functional design team.

- Good experience with design/debug tools, including OrCAD, Allegro and oscilloscopes.

- Good experience with board/platform-level debugging, including delivery, sequencing and analysis.

- Good experience in PCBA BOM architecture and creation.

- Strong sense of responsibility, proactive, and able to work independently.

Academic Credentials

- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical or computer engineering

Onsite at Taipei, Taiwan office.
