Prepare briefing, presentation and advocacy materials that distill policy messages and resonate across a range of audiences, including policymakers, partners and clients. 10+ years of experience in state public policy, advocacy or government relations with engagement in the political process with policymakers and stakeholders ideally with background in both the public and private sector and exposure to financial services issues Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to distill complex policies and information in succinct and compelling ways with diverse audiences. Proven experience leading, collaborating and executing on policy issues across multiple stakeholders in a dynamic environment. Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to build consensus with the ability to independently execute tasks and deliver results. Creativity, curiosity and a self-starter demeanor with the ability to adapt quickly to changing needs and thrive in fast-paced environments. Strong political acumen through understanding of state public policy, political dynamics and the ability to be effective with members of both political parties. Sound judgment and exceptional organizational and administrative skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to manage many competing priorities and responsibilities.
