We are looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead large-scale EPD (E-Ink Display) device and mobile application projects, working closely with teams across Taiwan, the U.S., India, and ODM vendors.
The ideal candidate has solid experience managing hardwaresoftware integrated projects, understands product development cycles for consumer devices, and can coordinate complex technical programs across multiple time zones and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage project execution to ensure on-time, on-budget, and in-scope delivery
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, tracking progress, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across multiple regions (Taiwan, U.S., India, ODM partners)
- Manage resource planning and allocation to optimize team productivity
- Handle change management for project scope, schedule, and cost using appropriate control methods
- Monitor and measure project performance using suitable tools and KPIs
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively, especially in hardwaresoftware integration
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Prepare and present project status and progress reports to management and executives
- Facilitate daily scrums / stand-ups and ensure alignment among engineering, QA, design, and product teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Management)
- 5+ years of project management experience (810 years preferred) in software and/or hardware development
- Strong understanding of both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies
- Proven experience in mobile app development and/or embedded device projects
- Experience managing multi-national and cross-functional teams
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage resource allocation and multi-site coordination effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in EPD / E-Ink device projects or other consumer electronics hardware programs
- Familiarity with hardware development and manufacturing processes, including NPI (New Product Introduction), EVT/DVT/PVT stages, and ODM collaboration
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and other Agile project management tools
- Understanding of software release pipelines, CI/CD, and version control systems (e.g., Git)
