Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Act as the primary customer interface and first-line technical support for ongoing AI datacenter power designs – clarifying requirements, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring design win for Power MOSFETs
- Serve as the local technical spokesperson to Product Line (PL)management and global stakeholders, representing Taipei TM engineering activities
- Measure and benchmark power MOSFET (Infineon and competitors) in AI data center applications: Intermediate Bus Converters (IBC), Battery Backup Units (BBU), and DC/DC conversion systems
- Drive validation tests on cutting-edge power MOSFETs using custom-designed boards to support development and optimization of next-gen power architectures
- Assist Technical Marketing in creating application notes, reference designs, and board/layout guidelines focused on 48V and 800V distributed power architectures for AI servers
- Design and build application test setups (e.g., IBC/BBU evaluation boards)
- Interface with cross-functional teams (R&D, Supply Chain, Quality) to resolve technical challenges requiring deep power electronics expertise
- Actively collaborate with global Technical Marketing and System Engineering teams to explore new technologies, cost-optimized designs, and efficiency improvements for competitive advantage
- Support teammates with hands-on expertise in lab debugging, measurement best practices, and power system architecture trade-offs
Your Profile
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
- A degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or comparable field from a university / university of applied sciences
- 5+ years hands-on experience in electrical engineering laboratory environments with power electronics focus
- Specific experience in AI datacenter power systems, particularly Intermediate Bus Converters (IBC) and Battery Backup Units (BBU) for DC/DC conversion
- Profound knowledge of power semiconductors, especially Power MOSFETs, GaN, or SiC technologies
- Experience with DC/DC converter topologies and design
- PCB Design skills (Allegro, Altium Designer) and ability to review layouts for power/thermal integrity
- Provin skills in Matlab/Simulink and SPICE circuit simulation tools
- Ability to analyze measurement data and present results clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Act as primary customer interface for ongoing designs – providing first-line technical support and clarifying requirements
- Capability to work independently, provide technical guidance, and collaborate effectively in global teams
- Fluent English skills (main language in international team) and strong verbal/written communication
- Results-oriented mindset with regular, concise project updates to stakeholders and PL management
- Based in or willing to relocate to Taipei, Taiwan for on-site lab work and team collaboration
