Job Brief The Senior Software Project Manager will be the driving force for Delta's most strategic software initiatives, specifically focusing on the integration of unified software platforms and related applications. This role requires a unique blend of transformation mindset and execution excellence. You will lead high-impact projects that bridge the gap between multiple existing hardware/SCADA systems and modern cloud-based software. Responsibilities 1. Strategic Project Orchestration & Transformation Lead the end-to-end delivery of Delta's unified software platform, ensuring it meets the requirements of diverse business groups while maintaining a standardized core. Manage the integration of Data platforms that consolidate fragmented data from various industrial sources (MES, SCADA, EMS, VMS, etc) into actionable business intelligence & related applications. Define and track project KPIs that align with the corporate transformation strategy, moving from one-off project delivery to scalable productized solutions. 2. Stakeholder Management & Cross-Domain Integration Act as the primary bridge between corporate, BU product teams, and external partners. Navigate complex organizational structures to align conflicting priorities between traditional hardware-centric BUs and software-driven initiatives. Facilitate technical discussions between Software Architects and Business Owners to ensure the solution architecture supports the long-term Software-led business model. 3. Software Governance & Process Excellence Establish and enforce software project management standards across the group, including resource allocation, risk mitigation, and change management protocols. Drive the adoption of Agile/Scrum methodologies Qualifications Required: . Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related technical field. . 10+ years of experience in Software Project Management, with experiences leading large-scale Enterprise Digital Transformation or Data Platform projects. . Industry Background: Proven track record in the Power/Energy/Manufacturing industry or ICT industry (core system integration), where high reliability and complex data integration are paramount. . Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, including cloud-native applications, API-led integration, and microservices. . Experience in IT/OT convergence projects, involving industrial (Modbus, BACnet, DNP3, IEC 60870-5, OPC UA, etc) and IoT(MQTT, WebAPI, etc) protocols and their integration with high-level software layers. . Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence without formal authority in a matrix organization. . PMP, ACP, or equivalent project management certification. . Fluent in English and Chinese. Preferred: . Experience in Software-led Hardware Sales strategies or Solution Selling environments. . Familiarity with Data Center infrastructure, Microgrid management, Industrial / building automation. . Experience in AI application / Digital twin application in industrial contexts. . Direct experience in managing Product-to-Platform transitions in traditional manufacturing or heavy industry. . Strong financial acumen to manage project budgets, ROI analysis, and vendor selection.
