Molex is seeking an experienced semiconductor production planning engineer. The candidate must quickly adapt to multinational corporations working style and a dynamic and changeable environment. In addition, this candidate must be able to work independently and solve problems ability to face the various production questions and overcome production bottlenecks.

Our team: The PIC device CM Management team in Taiwan focuses on external suppliers and subcontractors production tasks management. It must work closely with other operation teams at multiple-locations, such as: Zhu-Hai, China and Freemont, USA
What You Will Do (Job Description)
- Production planning and execution.
- Daily monitor WIP movements through Bumping, CP, Die Sawing and Final test and AOI, collaborate with cross functional to achieve the shipping target.
- Organize and analyze production records and reports and monitor and control the whole backend progress.
- Assisting with the new OSAT site survey in Taiwan.
- Communication, negotiation and coordination capability for production capacity and shipping schedule are absolutely essential. These directly affects production progress.
- Keep a good cooperation relationship with the main OSAT sites sales, key engineering guys, and planners.
- Giving the working instructions to OSAT sites and managing WIP, cycle time, and estimated capacity.
- Problems analysis and solving abilities.
- Assist the supervisor in managing matters related to outsourcing.
- Meticulous and highly responsible capable of handling enormous amounts of data and daily production process details, avoiding oversights.
- Possessing a continuous improvement mindset proactively identifying problems, optimizing processes, and enhancing productivity and efficiency.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience in IC design houses or Assembly/Testing houses production planner is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree above and 5+ years of experience in backend operation and production planning
- Very familiar with the operation of Taiwanese OSAT sites
- Issuance of outsourcing working orders and follow-up on urgent lots and delivery dates

- Experience in production/NPI and negotiation skills
- A strong multi-cultural and interpersonal skill
