Key responsibilities

Lead product development, overseeing design, prototyping, sampling, and production.
Collaborate with designers, suppliers, and manufacturers to ensure product feasibility and alignment with brand standards.
Source and evaluate materials for quality, sustainability, and cost efficiency.
Manage timelines, ensuring on-time delivery of samples and production-ready products.
Conduct factory visits and quality inspections to maintain high production standards.
Work closely with cross-functional teams (Design, Merchandising, Sales, Supply Chain) to align product development with business goals.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies in bag manufacturing.

Role requirements

5+ years in product development, preferably in bags, accessories or leather goods
Strong knowledge of bag construction, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Experience working with international suppliers and factories.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, PLM systems, and Excel for tech packs and cost analysis.
Excellent project management and negotiation skills.
Creative problem-solving ability with a keen eye for detail.
Degree in Fashion Design, Product Development, or related field preferred.
