Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Hubballi Urban for a Senior Optical Engineer. The role includes designing, developing, and optimizing advanced optical systems and components for diverse applications. Other responsibilities include overseeing optical design, prototyping, and testing processes; conducting simulations and providing optical performance analyses; and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product alignment with quality standards and project goals. The Senior Optical Engineer will also contribute to innovation in optical technologies to meet evolving industry needs.

Qualifications

• Expertise in optical system design, lens design, and simulation tools such as Zemax, CODE V, or TracePro
• Strong understanding of optomechanical design and proficiency in mechanical CAD software
• Hands-on experience in optical manufacturing, precision alignment, and advanced optical film coatings
• Knowledge of optical testing, metrology tools, and data analysis for performance validation
• Ability to apply computational techniques for optical problem-solving and innovation
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and project management skills
• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Optical Engineering, Physics, or related discipline
• Experience with AR/VR, autonomous driving, or life sciences applications is a plus
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python or MATLAB preferred
