Job Description

The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) is tasked to undertake, encourage, promote and facilitate urban renewal of Hong Kong in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Renewal Authority Ordinance and the Urban Renewal Strategy published by the Government. The URA adopts a comprehensive and holistic approach by ways of its two core businesses i.e. redevelopment and rehabilitation, as well as preservation, revitalisation and retrofitting, for creating a sustainable and quality living environment for the people of Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the head of Learning and Oganisational Development (L&OD) team, the Senior Officer's role is important for supporting the Authority's L&OD initiatives, enhancing internal communications, elevating employer brand, andsupporting the development of a consistent and engaging employer brand for the Authority. The incumbent will:

  • Assist in the implementation of internal communicatio n and employer branding strategies to enhance visibility and engagement while maintaining consistent messaging across all platforms

  • Develop comprehensive shooting plan, including but not limited to site selection, shooting angles, and script development

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to conceptualise the digital media and manage logistics arrangements for video productions

  • Oversee all production stages, including storyboarding, scripting filming and editing

  • Manage content lifecycle from concept through production to distribution, ensuring high-quality standards and alignment with brand voice

  • Deliver internal training sessions on video production techniques to upskill staff members

  • Liaise with and supervise external production houses to ensure the quality of digital content deliverables

  • Research and recommend relevant technologies, software and methodologies to enhance digital content quality and efficiency

  • Undertake additional duties as assigned by the supervisor to meet Authority's business needs

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Multimedia, Film/TV Production, Corporate Communication, or a related discipline

  • Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in end-to-end digital content production, preferably in sizable organisations

  • A creative and proactive mindset with strong conceptual skills to transform ideas into high-quality visual content

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for effective stakeholder collaboration

  • Able to work independently, managing multiple production projects simultaneously

  • Proficiency in professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud) and MS Office applications

  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese

  • Familiarity with generative AI tools for content creation (e.g., for image, video, or script generation) is an advantage

  • Experience in creating content specifically for learning, internal communications, or employer branding is an advantage

  • Candidates with less experience will also be considered for the position of Officer
