The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) is tasked to undertake, encourage, promote and facilitate urban renewal of Hong Kong in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Renewal Authority Ordinance and the Urban Renewal Strategy published by the Government. The URA adopts a comprehensive and holistic approach by ways of its two core businesses i.e. redevelopment and rehabilitation, as well as preservation, revitalisation and retrofitting, for creating a sustainable and quality living environment for the people of Hong Kong.
Responsibilities:
Assist to manage Board, Committee, task force and working group meetings
Assist to oversee onboarding programmes for new Board members and keep track of board and committee members information, biographies, and governance details up to date on company platforms
Independently handle all correspondence with Law Enforcement Agencies, maintain thorough records, ensure compliance with legal requirements, and coordinate timely responses for investigations and reviews
Carry out research on the latest trends in corporate governance, digital innovation, and urban renewal and provide analyses and recommendations to support strategic planning
Prepare accurate and effective presentation materials and documents for management's speeches and public events, aligning with the Authority's communication strategy
Carry out essential administrative tasks such as managing tender submissions, handling the Authority's common seal, and carrying out special assignments to support organisational needs
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three years relevant experience
Demonstrated experience in engaging with Law Enforcement Agencies, managing tender processes, or handling matters related to the Authority's 4 Rs strategy will be considered an added advantage
Excellent command of written and spoken business English and Chinese
Proficiency in MS Office applications and Chinese word processing
Meticulous, analytical, and proactive team player with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability
