The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) is tasked to undertake, encourage, promote and facilitate urban renewal of Hong Kong in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Renewal Authority Ordinance and the Urban Renewal Strategy published by the Government. The URA adopts a comprehensive and holistic approach by ways of its two core businesses i.e. redevelopment and rehabilitation, as well as preservation, revitalisation and retrofitting, for creating a sustainable and quality living environment for the people of Hong Kong.
Responsibilities:
Leadfull-spectrum property and facility management operations for the Authority's portfolio and Joint Venture (JV) projects
Drivestrategic asset enhancement initiatives, leveraging architectural insights to optimise property value, marketability, and socio-economic benefits
Spearheadflexible leasing strategies and foster strong relationships with JV developers, tenants, government authorities, and internal departments to drive stakeholder satisfaction
Overseefinancial performance by formulating annual budgets, driving cost-efficiency and revenue maximisation, and managing the tendering process and contract management for agency and property management contracts
Negotiate and review building management proposals, deeds of mutual covenant, management budgets, and property management fee proposals to safeguard the Authority's objectives
Directon-site teams, external property managers, and contractors to uphold stringent land grant compliance and audit readiness
Strong leadership abilities to motivate and develop teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning
Requirements:
University degree holder in Property/Facility Management, Building Services, Architecture, Engineering, Surveying, Hospitality or related discipline
Minimum of 10 year's relevant experience in facilities management and/or asset enhancement
Possession of professional membership of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, Hong Kong Institute of Architects, Hong Kong Institute of Housing, Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors, or equivalent
Profound knowledge of Building Management Ordinance, tenancy laws, best practices in facility management and relevant technologies such as BIM-FM, coupled with strong analytical skills to proactively drive asset enhancement and operational improvements
Demonstrated success in driving innovative asset enhancement initiatives, leveraging architectural, design, and market insights to maximise property value, tenant satisfaction, and socio-economic returns while aligning with placemaking objectives
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Excellent command of verbal and written Chinese and English
High level of integrity, professionalism, maturity, and accountability in safeguarding the Authority's interests and reputation
Resilient self-starter, capable of making sound, strategic decisions aligned with organisational goals
Strong leadership abilities to motivate and develop teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning
