About the Role
Report the VONB and embedded value information of the Group in the interim and annual reports.
Enhance the group reporting process and support the system development to support external and management reporting.
Provide guidance to local Actuarial to produce the VONB and EV and coordinate EV audit and control for group consolidation processes.
Support Investor Relation and other group functions and management team to address stakeholders queries on the Group's financials around VONB and EV.
Support other special projects related to VONB and EV.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Consolidate, review and analyze reported results for the Group, including VONB/EV/IFRS, with a particular focus on VONB
- Enhance the group reporting processes and support system development to support external and management reporting
- Review the local reported results and investigate the business issue behind the numbers and other technical issues
- Coordinate audit-related queries and implement control for the group consolidation processes
- Support Investor Relation and other group functions and management team to address stakeholder's queries on reported results
- Manage key stake-holders from finance, local teams, IT and project team to ensure a smooth and timely reporting process
- Manage quarterly actual and forecast reporting processes and coordinate the management information decks with comments and insights, and identify potential issues in financial reporting
- Coordinate and consolidate operating and economic assumption change processes
- Implement actuarial guidelines related to reporting
- Manage actuarial support related to external and management reporting
- Manage and participate in ad hoc projects
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Degree/Master holder in actuarial science or other business disciplines
- Qualified Actuary, or good progress in actuarial professional examination
- Strong understanding of financial reports and insurance business
- Experience with publicly traded company is preferred
- Team player, driven, self-motivated, flexible and enjoy challenges
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication (verbal, written, graphic) and presentation skills fluent in spoken and written Chinese is preferred
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
