This role is to achieve business targets in line with corporate direction, to support agency and business development by well managing sales channels and executing various business programs and efficiency operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute the business strategy to increase Life Insurance conversion, improve overall profitability, and enable agents to cross-sell Life products and upsell General Insurance products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with agents and other intermediaries to increase market penetration and improve sales productivity.
  • Drive business growth by planning and executing promotional initiatives, including (but not limited to) agency incentives, travel incentives, channel visits, product training, and special agency events.
  • Work closely with the Customer Services Team to ensure the best-in-class customer services are in place.
  • Oversee agents and other intermediaries conduct, business activities, and operations to ensure compliance with company policies, directions, and guidelines.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma graduate with professional insurance qualifications in general insurance (ACII or ANZIIF).
  • Minimum of 7 years of solid working experience with at least 3 years in supervisory experience.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Putonghua highly preferred.
  • Experience in handling multi-distribution channels, in particular life agency.
  • Solid exposure in developing and underwriting general insurance / employee benefits business.
  • Sales-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
