A leading Consulting Firm is looking for Senior Manager / Director to join their team. Candidates from leading consulting firms with banking and finance project experience are welcome.

Job Duties:

• Advise clients on planning large scale technology-enabled initiatives such as core system modernization and transformation.
• Lead complex engagements that include custom application design and development, business process re-engineering and solution integration.
• Plan, design and implement custom solutions to address clients business challenges within the insurance or banking domain.
• Accountable for customer success and build trust through delivering high quality solutions for clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams to drive key initiatives, pitch and close sales opportunities, and work on deliverables for clients.
• Develop high performing people and teams through challenging and meaningful opportunities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field advanced degree will be a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in technology consulting or IT project management, with at least 5 years of experience in mainframe migration or core system modernization in the banking or consulting industry.
• Experience on modern platforms (e.g. Alibaba Cloud, Huawai Cloud) and database solution (e.g. Oceanbase, PolarDB), Java, Python.
• Knowledge in mainframe technologies (e.g., IBM z/OS, COBOL, DB2) will be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of data migration processes, including ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), data quality assurance, and reconciliation.
• Experience designing target architectures that integrate with enterprise systems (e.g., core banking, treasury platforms)
• Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale, complex projects with budgets exceeding HKD100M and teams of 20+ members.
• Familiarity with Hong Kong's financial services regulatory environment (e.g., HKMA compliance) is highly desirable.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders and present to C-level executives.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
• PMP, TOGAF, or similar certifications are a plus.
• Fluency in English and Cantonese Mandarin is an advantage
