The Senior Manager, Bermuda Finance Delivery Lead will support the Chief Financial Operating Officer by providing senior project management expertise for the finance setup projects of Prudential's new Bermuda entity. This role is responsible for helping to plan, coordinate, and track the delivery of multiple finance-related projects, working closely with internal teams, external service providers, consultants, and the finance operations function. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining project plans, monitoring progress against milestones, managing risks and issues, facilitating coordination across workstreams, and supporting the smooth handover of deliverables into operational ownership. The role enables the timely and organised launch of the reinsurance and direct insurance licenses through structured project management support and governance.Key Accountabilities
Support the development and maintenance of detailed project plans and delivery schedules for the various finance setup projects (systems implementation, process rollout, controls, treasury, regulatory readiness). Track progress, dependencies, and resource requirements across workstreams.
Monitor project risks, issues, and blockers. Escalate as needed and help coordinate resolution with the Senior Director, Financial Operations, workstream leads, and external parties.
Facilitate project coordination activities, including status meetings, workshops, vendor updates, and cross-team alignment. Help ensure deliverables from consultants and service providers meet agreed timelines and quality expectations.
Support testing, data migration, change management, training, and handover activities for finance projects. Assist in preparing operational teams to take ownership of new processes and systems.
Prepare regular project updates, progress reports, dashboards, and governance materials for the Senior Director, Financial Operations and senior stakeholders. Maintain project documentation and audit trails.
Candidate Specifications:
At least 10 years of experience in Finance and project management, preferably in insurance / banking, with demonstrated success in coordinating system implementation initiatives.
Strong expertise in cross-functional collaboration, including managing internal teams (e.g., Group and LBUs) and external partners (e.g., auditors, consultants).
Proven track record in working on large-scale projects.
Exceptional Finance Operations awareness, project management and communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Project Management, or related field. Professional qualifications (e.g., PMP, or CPA) are advantageous but not required.
Experience with insurance finance processes and collaboration tools (e.g., Oracle, OneStream, Coupa, Smartstream) is advantageous.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
Fluency in spoken and written English.
Willingness to travel as required for stakeholder engagements and Group alignments.
