Senior Full-Stack Engineer

Established in 1987 and headquartered in Taiwan, TSMC pioneered the pure-play foundry business model with an exclusive focus on manufacturing its customers products. As of 2024, TSMC serves more than 500 customers and manufactures over 11,000 products for high-performance computing, smartphones, the Internet of Things (IoT), automotive, and digital consumer electronics. It is the world's largest provider of logic ICs, with an annual capacity of 16 million 12-inch equivalent wafers. TSMC operates fabs in Taiwan as well as manufacturing subsidiaries in Washington State, Japan and China, and the Company began construction on a specialty technology fab in Dresden, Germany, in 2024. In Arizona, TSMC is building three fabs, with the first starting 4nm production in 2025, the second by 2028, and the third by the end of the decade.

Role:

You will work in a team to create new, cloud-native services and capabilities to meet TSMC's growing business needs.

Your team will play a prominent role of developing systems by using modern system and Web technologies.

As a developer in our team, you will be working on the design and development of services from the ground up.

Responsibility:

1.Develop efficient and highly reusable front-end systems that drive complex web applications.

2.Design and implement scalable web services and applications.

3.Write clean, well-tested, performance code that works and ships often to production.

Basic Qualifications:

1.Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science related fields, or equivalent work experience.

2.Minimum 5 years of experience in software development.

3.Proficient in server-side language, such as python, go, or Node.js.

4.Familiar with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MariaDB, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, etc.)

5.Highly experienced in RESTful APIs.

6.Experience with cross-team, cross-functional collaboration.

7.Familiar with the Linux operating system and commonly used command line tools and applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

1.Experienced in building backend services for large-scale services.

2.Experienced with distributed systems and data.

3.Experienced with microservice architecture.

4.Experienced with containerization and orchestration by using tools such as Kubernetes and Docker.
