The Role:
The Sr. Application Engineer will provide technical solutions in Liquid Filtration/Purification applications through product testing in laboratory and co-working with customer for developing product evaluation and existing problem solving, major focus on the aggressive product.
In this role you will:
- Develop deep understanding of Entegris technology to recommend customer solutions for filtration/purification.
- Visit customer to press ahead on the new product evaluation and feedback customer need to Entegris product developing team to be well-aligned with the progress and strategy.
- Plan and execute experiments for new product development and customer-requested design
- Develop test methods to demonstrate filter performance in laboratory
- Publish work with internal facing applications notes, technical conferences, & journals
- Mentor /coach junior engineering team members across teams.
Traits we believe make a strong candidate:
- Excellent problem solving and design capabilities (Master's degree preferred)
- Detail orientated, able to record/analyze quantitative data and make qualitative observations where required
- Strong fab (IDM, OEM) experience in Wet Etch and Clean process/equipment area.
- Chemical Engineering / Materials Science / Chemistry experience is preferred (>5 years experience; MS, PhD degrees preferred)
- Experience with customer oriented technical support with OEM FAB is a plus.
- Fluent in English
