Position Title: Senior Director, Strategic Sourcing and Procurement

Position Overview
The Senior Director Strategic Sourcing and Procurement is responsible for developing and executing the global procurement strategy for Navitas Semiconductor silicon manufacturing. This role oversees the sourcing of critical materials, equipment, components, and services required for wafer fabrication, advanced packaging, testing, capital equipment builds, and operational support. Due to a broad product portfolio supporting applications including datacenter, consumer, space, solar charging and industrial high-power products, the successful leader must ensure compliance of diverse end customer requirements through our manufacturing eco-system. The Senior Directors drives cost competitiveness, supply assurance, supplier innovation, and compliance across all procurement activities in a highly complex, fast-moving, and geopolitically sensitive supply chain environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement a global procurement strategy aligned with company goals, technology roadmap, and manufacturing expansion plans.
- Lead long-range planning and supplier agreements for supply assurance, capacity expansion, and supplier technology readiness for leading-edge power package and test technologies
- Lead multi-year, high-value commercial negotiations with all foundries and OSAT partners including pricing, master service agreements, capital investment, tooling
- Ensure supply resilience through mitigation strategies related to geopolitical instability, logistics disruptions, and supply shortages.
- Ensure supplier compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, sustainability requirements, and regulatory obligations.
- Build strategic supplier partnerships and manage executive-level relationships with critical global vendors.
- Drive supplier innovation to support next-generation technologies.
- Perform supplier risk assessments, continuity planning, and diversification strategies across regions.
- Oversee procurement analytics, forecasting, spend visibility, and automation tools (ERP, SRM, e-procurement).
- Drive continuous improvements and implement best-in-class procurement methodologies and KPIs.
- Establish and enforce policies for supplier audits, quality compliance, and ESG goals.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations, or related field.
- Master's degree or MBA preferred.
Experience
- 15+ years of procurement or supply chain leadership experience in semiconductor manufacturing or related advanced manufacturing sectors.
- Deep knowledge of semiconductor materials, equipment vendors, wafer fabrication processes, and global supply chain dynamics.
- Proven track record of semiconductor supplier negotiation, global sourcing strategy, and capital equipment procurement.
- Experience scaling procurement organizations for rapid fab expansion or high-volume manufacturing environments.
- Specific industry experience working with a broad range of semiconductor manufacturing partners involved with wafer fabrication, assembly, test and equipment / tooling suppliers.
