Senior Data Analyst

PCCW Global has embarked on the journey of data driven business transformation and we areexcited to grow our data and analytics(DNA) team further. This team is focused on ensuring enterprise business analytics and intelligence. We are looking for a data analyst to come join our team and help us with this mission.

As a data analyst, you will play a critical role in uplifting the data capabilities by designing and implementing data analytics solutions to address the business needs

Your Role

. Translating business requirements into clearly defined data requirements
. Business analysis to understand business users requirements from the business analytics
. Identify and recommend new data and analytics capabilities, tools and services that willenhance our overall data science capabilities.
. Ensure data quality leveraging relevant tools & techniques
. Proactively contribute towards data process improvements, data governance, dataarchitecture and team process improvements
. Design, build & maintain enterprise level business insights dashboards and reports
. Programming required for visualisation
. Analyse and interpret data trends and patterns, and communicate the key findings tovarious stakeholders
. Deliver on responsibilities and tasks pulled in a timely manner
. Collaborate and partner with other data analysts and data teams in the organisation
. Build the data dictionary
. Business stakeholder engag ement
. Actively supporting strategic initiatives
. Business analytics (Advanced to what we currently have)
. Establish enterprise standards for tooling, data quality and performance measures for dataimplementations

To Succeed in this Role
. 10+ years experience in designing and developing data solutions
. 10+ years experience working with business reporting
. Extensive experience with data visualisation and reporting experience
. Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve in a systematic manner
. Development and maintenance of various reports, metrics, tools and operationaldashboards
. Strong understanding of data visualisation and analytics concepts
. Previous experience in data process improvement and strong track record in data qualityenhancement
. Ability to understand data implementation challenges and being able to tailor theanalytics solutions accordingly
. Experience working with complex business data sets
. Proven problem-solving and creative thinking abilities.
. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information simplyand effectively.
. Excels at working either independently and in a highly-collaborative environment.
. Programming skills: JS, HTML, CSS, SQL, Python
. Self-learner who is interested in keeping current with the changing data and analyticslandscape.(highly regarded)
. Experience with google looker studio pro
. Experience in Lean-Agile Methodology
. Prior experience in implementing enterprise level dashboards
. Telecommunications industry experience
. Cloud Service Providers Machine Learning and AI services experience (GCP inparticular)
