Senior Counsel - Leading AI/Tech Firm, Taiwan

My client is a leading and growing AI Firm and we are recruiting for a Senior Counsel to be based in the Taiwan office. You will be given the opportunity to support the business on all legal related matters in the region, and work closely with stakeholders in the market. We are looking for candidates who are looking to scale their career in a leading name in the industry and scale up with the business

Responsibilities for this Senior Counsel - Leading AI/Tech Firm, Taiwan

• Negotiate and draft legal documents
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills, M&A, litigation experience
• Provide guidance to the legal team and support senior leadership
• Support Grouplevel M&A and capital markets activities.
• Oversee intellectual property compliance and development. Advise on SOX and SECrelated regulatory requirements.

Requirements for this Senior Counsel - Leading AI/Tech Firm, Taiwan

• Bachelor's degree in law or equivalent law qualification. Bar qualification (US, UK, or Taiwan)
• At least 10 years of relevant law firm experience / in-house experience with focus in AI/technology/bid data or energy
• Experience supporting government or public-sector projects preferred
• Strong experience in handling general legal matters
• Bilingual - Mandarin and English
