Job description:
- Carry out market research that will enable clients to make strategic decisions on how to enter and/or expand market in Taiwan both from sourcing & manufacturing and from marketing & sales perspective
- Take a central role in the office's sales efforts
- Perform data analysis to identify economic and business trends relevant for Swedish companies
- Support with analyses of the political and economic environment impacting international firms doing business in Taiwan
- Create impactful presentations to clients senior management teams
- Assist with business advice, negotiation, and interpretation in business meetings between Swedish and Taiwanese companies
- Work closely together with Taiwanese, Swedish and foreign colleagues, and report to project manager
The work is principally carried out in-person in our Taipei office, and physical presence will be required throughout the probation period. For the successful candidate, beyond probation, some room for remote working is possible in accordance with office policy.
Experience
- Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Science, or Engineering field, with experience of overseas studies preferred
- 2-4 years (Consultant) to 4-6 years (Senior Consultant) of relevant working experience
- Consulting experience from a well-known consulting or market research firm is a merit
Skills & Abilities
- Native-level proficiency in Swedish and/orMandarin, as well as overall excellent communications skills in English
- Sales-oriented, eager to take initiative, and service-minded
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with result-oriented aims
- Comfortable working with and analyzing large data sets
- Hands-on character, willing to learn and to do the job from start to end of a project
- Good at creating clear and impactful presentations and reports
- Experience from a certain field such as engineering, energy, automotive, marine, biotech, or consumer/retail is meriting.
- A team player but with an independent drive, outgoing and eager to learn and improve
- Willingness to travel, both domestically and abroad
