Department Description
Cambium Networks designs and market a range of advanced OFDM and MIMO-based point-to-point and point-to-multipoint Ethernet radios/RF Solutions in both licensed and unlicensed bands. Customers include tier 2 and 3 telephony operators, wireless internet service providers, and enterprises such as utilities, federal, state, and local governments. Cambium's supply chain consists of OEM, ODM, and EMS solution,s while fulfillment takes place through regional distribution centers via channel partners to the end customer.
The primary objective of the Supply Operations team is to ensure that the Cambium Networks supply chain is focused on supporting the needs of business; through the timely delivery of high quality and cost effective products from a competitive supply base while adhering to global trade and compliance requirements. Positioning inventory throughout the supply chain while ensuring excess and obsolescence is minimized is a core objective.
Scope of Responsibilities & Position Expectations
Monitors the maintenance of records regarding pricing and ordering of materials; prepares reports, analyses, and recommendations.
Works with ODM/EMS and accessory suppliers to ensure supply meets forecast
Facilitate Supplier performance improvements.
Communicate any item/order or issues to management, effectively escalating jeopardy situations.
Participate in, and occasionally lead department project meetings as needed.
Ability to communicate with various levels of management.
Ability to provide information to executive-level management to assist in decision-making.
Deep personal commitment and belief in team synergy and collaboration.
Ability to work in a global environment with Suppliers and internal customers worldwide.

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Strong Excel skills. Basic knowledge of Word, and PowerPoint

Knowledge of the principles and practices of purchasing.
Advanced knowledge of ERP/MRP practices, processes, and techniques.
Operates with integrity, demonstrates honesty, and keeps commitments.
Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
Strong Supply Chian Management knowledge.
Ability to develop, establish and train on processes
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
Ability to conduct meetings, obtain necessary information, give verbal presentations and maintain effective information flow.
Adaptable to changing environment and requirements.
Schedule flexibility as needed to supported business demands such as working with suppliers in other countries
Compliance with all procurement and planning-related company policies and procedures.
Knowledge/ Skill Requirement
Previous ERP/MRP material planning experience a plus.
Experience with NetSuite a plus
Good communications skills with supplier teams
Microsoft office software, especially Excel; Pivot, V-Lookup, filtering & sorting
Needs to be able to work independently
Needs to be able to represent Cambium in a professional manner in the region
Can do/decisive attitude.
Additional Job Requirements:
College degree in business or supply chain operations a plus, or commensurate experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
