Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Business Development Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing products on our platform, from onboarding and updates to ensuring accuracy and consistency, while working closely with suppliers and internal teams, including content, marketing, and operations. Your work will directly impact the quality and competitiveness of our travel offerings.

Key Responsibilities

Supplier Management

  • Act as the primary or secondary point of contact for travel product suppliers.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with partners.
  • Address inquiries, support needs, and ensure satisfaction with OTA services.
  • Train suppliers on how to use the SCM system effectively.
  • Manage supplier access and activities within the SCM system.

Product Management

  • Take full ownership of backend product operations, including uploading, reactivation, and amendments across the system.
  • Coordinate the onboarding and uploading of new products and services to the platform.

Identify high-demand and popular products for sourcing and uploading.

  • Monitor and update existing product information (e.g., descriptions, pricing, availability, images).
  • Ensure product listings are accurate, engaging, and optimize for conversions.
  • Work closely with the QA team to maintain and improve product quality.
  • Optimize content to align with platform standards and customer expectations.

Cross-functional Communication

  • Liaise with internal account management, marketing, design, content, and tech teams to support campaigns and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve operational issues and improve supplier performance.
  • Contribute to promotions, campaigns, and seasonal content planning.
  • Reporting & Optimisation
  • Track supplier performance and identify areas for improvement.

Provide regular updates and insights to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Tourism, Marketing, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in account management, preferably in the travel or e-commerce industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Comfortable with data entry and managing digital content.
  • Experience with OTA platforms, CMS, SCM, or CRM tools is a plus.
