Build control awareness and promote risk framework through effective communications within CBG and between BU/SU, including increasing staff awareness of and adherence to regulatory requirements Fair Dealing, Elderly Customers, SCSA, SA, ULCR monthly report and meeting etc
Manage OR-ULCR Team's risk & control activities including SCSA, PDPA, G&E monitoring, internal & external auditing, Confirmation letter, etc
Partner with Legal & Compliance (L&C), CBG ULCRs, and other Business Units/Support Units (BU/SU) to ensure alignment with broader business objectives and continuously strengthen the risk and control of regulations
Contribute to and support key risk and control projects, working seamlessly with CBG COO Office colleagues and CBG ULCRs to drive successful outcomes.
Conduct thorough gap analyses of existing policies against new or evolving regulations and provide expert guidance and support to CBG COO Office and CBG ULCRs on local regulatory matters
Work effectively with COO Office colleagues and CBG ULCRs to ensure the compliance with regulatory issues identified are appropriately escalated to management
Handle and coordinate internal or external audits, ensuring timely submission of required deliverables, follow up on corrective action plans
Undertake special projects and assignments as directed by management to address emerging risk or control priorities
Qualifications
5 years and above experiences in the Banking Financial Industry field
Solid experience in Risk & Control management, auditing, and/or project management
Deep understanding of Consumer Banking products
Sound knowledge of regulatory requirement for Consumer Banking products
Proficient Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint) and project skills
Demonstrate experience delivering results in an ambiguous and changing environment, the ability to work independently and be a self-starter
