(Senior) Assistant Manager, Financial Controllership

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and efficient monthly financial closing processes in line with organizational standards. Address statutory reporting and audit requirements, ensuring compliance with the latest IFRS standards. Lead, oversee, and review the grant management process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to policies. Participate in budgeting and rolling forecast processes for the cluster and hospital. Manage operational finance processes, including: Operational expenditure and accruals. Purchase requisition and order management. Assist with the implementation of new processes and systems as needed. Foster a culture of corporate governance by collaborating with internal and external auditors and stakeholders to address audit issues promptly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial roles. Experience in the public healthcare sector is advantageous. Strong numerical and analytical skills to interpret complex data effectively. Ability to engage stakeholders and demonstrate business acumen. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience managing diverse stakeholder relationships. Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Office applications (advanced Excel, VBA, PowerPoint, Word), and familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
