Job Description

About The Role

To be fully responsible for the overall financial operations in the Taiwan region, ensuring efficiency and compliance. The core duties include managing and executing a wide range of accounting tasks in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local accounting policies; ensuring the accuracy of financial records, timeliness of payments, and effective management of customer accounts; and guaranteeing strict adherence to all local tax regulations in all business activities.

What you will do

  • Prepare and record all accounting transactions in compliance with IFRS and local accounting policies.
  • Handle company's payable items and related transactions, ensuring accurate recording and timely payment.
  • Oversee customer accounts and implement effective credit control measures.
  • Complete monthly closing procedures before the designated deadline.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements in accordance with IFRS, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Stay informed about local government requirements and actively participate in the preparation of local tax declarations, including VAT and CIT.
  • Assist in completing annual audit work, cooperate with auditors by providing and explaining financial data.
  • Perform other Finance related functions and ad-hoc tasks as required.

What you will need

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • More than 5 years working experience on finance including GL and Reporting. Working experience in foreign company is preferred.
  • Dealing with annual audit issues independently
  • Strong sense of responsibility, initiative and efficiency
  • Have coordination and learning ability, and full of team spirit
  • Be familiar with SAP and office
  • Fluent verbal and writing skills in both Chinese and English
