Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Taipei for a SEA Sales Manager. The SEA Sales Manager will oversee and drive sales activities in the Southeast Asia region, identify market opportunities, manage distributor partnerships, and achieve sales targets. Key responsibilities include developing strategic sales plans, conducting market analysis, negotiating contracts, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

The role will also require coordinating with internal teams, preparing performance reports, and representing the company at industry events.

Job Content:

  1. Formulate and execute market development and business strategies for the Southeast Asian market; develop and establish a network of agents/retailers/licensed partners.
  2. Analyze market trends and competitive conditions, and propose product entry and promotion strategies.
  3. Manage customer orders and commercial processes (inquiries/quotations, negotiation, shipping, and after-sales service).
  4. Be familiar with brand licensing (IP Licensing) cooperation models, and assist in handling international contracts, licensing agreements, or distribution documents.
  5. Plan and participate in international toy exhibitions and commercial showcases (e.g., China Licensing Expo, overseas Showcases).
  6. Lead the SEA business team, responsible for talent recruitment, training, KPI management, and motivation.
  7. Engage in cross-departmental communication and collaboration with the design, R&D, production, and procurement departments to ensure product development and delivery schedules meet market and customer needs.
  8. Control the business budget, sales costs, and profit targets.
  9. Encourage the team to continuously learn about international market trends, strengthening cross-cultural communication skills and professional performance.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Sales Strategy, Business Development, and Market Analysis
  • Experience in Account Management, Relationship Building, and identifying growth opportunities
  • Leadership and Team Collaboration skills, with the ability to manage sales teams effectively
  • Excellent Communication, Negotiation, and Presentation skills
  • Knowledge of the pop culture or collectibles market and industry trends is a plus

  • Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing), capable of independently handling international business communication.
  • Proficiency in a second foreign language (Thai, Malay, Vietnamese) is highly preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • 5 to 10+ years of independent operation experience in the Southeast Asian (SEA) market, familiar with market development and agent/distributor management.
  • Possesses experience in team leadership and performance (KPI) goal management.
  • Experience in Brand Licensing (IP Licensing), and OEM/ODM operations is highly preferred.
  • Familiar with international trade procedures, customs clearance, and shipping terms/conditions.
  • Knowledge of toy industry trends, product development processes, and regulations

(e.g., EN71, ASTM, CPSIA, CE certifications) is highly preferred.

  • (These certifications relate to toy safety standards in the EU, US, and other international markets.)
  • Possesses cross-national communication and negotiation skills, as well as decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Has the ability to deliver exhibition presentations and market proposals, and can independently execute international projects.
