Summary

The RVP Commercial Ramp Strategy, Performance Optimization will report directly to Global Commercial Ramp Strategy & Performance Leader and dotted to SVP Commercial Regional Leader in ASPAC. This role can be based in Hong Kong or Singapore.

Job Description

Regional Leadership & Strategic Execution

. Lead the execution of Hyatt's global ramp strategy across all opening, conversion, and transitioning hotels in the region, ensuring regional alignment and localization based on market conditions, brand nuances, and owner expectations.

. Prioritize hotels and resources based on commercial risk, opportunity, and timing, ensuring that the right support is applied where it will drive the most impact.

. Serve as the senior commercial lead for ramp and performance related activity in the region, accountable for driving commercial readiness and performance outcomes.

Team Leadership & Talent Development

. Lead a team of regional leaders across Marketing, Sales, Revenue Management and Analytics.

. Drive team accountability for regional execution of the commercial ramp strategy, while fostering a high-performance culture focused on agility, impact, and collaboration.

. Create a learning loop across openings to continually improve ramp effectiveness and accelerate future commercial readiness.

Stakeholder Engagement

. Act as the strategic commercial advisor to owners/operators and general managers during the pre-opening and ramp period, as well as with GMs and hotel teams for the performance challenged assets.

. Align closely with regional Commercial Services SVP, Brand and Operations, to define commercial priorities and drive integrated execution.

. Partners with Regional O&T Operations to clearly communicate regional commercial strategies, performance goals, execution timelines and O&T project managers that support ramp CS.

. Engage with regional finance and ops leadership on performance management for challenged assets.

Performance Management & Continuous Learning

. Partner with Ramp Insights & Reporting Team to provide insights for hotel segmentation and strategies.

. Monitor KPIs, evaluate outcomes, and measure the effectiveness of regional ramp activities.

. Identify success stories and gaps, sharing regional learnings with global and cross-regional peers to refine strategy and continuously raise performance standards.

. Create customized glide paths to success for assets within the performance optimization team

Qualifications

Experience

. 12+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience in the hospitality industry.

. Experience with new hotel openings and driving commercial performance.

. Proven ability to drive commercial outcomes in complex, matrixed environments across multiple regions.

. Deep knowledge of hotel commercial functions including Sales, Marketing and Revenue.

. Strong understanding of regional market dynamics and how to adapt brand and commercial strategy to fit local needs.

. Experienced in leading cross-functional teams and collaborating within a global matrixed organization.

. Skilled in stakeholder and owner engagement, with the ability to influence at all levels.

. Strategic thinker with a bias toward action, data-informed decision-making, and performance accountability

Education and Expertise (i.e. certificates, licenses, etc.)

. MBA or advanced degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field
