Applicants should have (i) a PhD degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Life Science or a related discipline (ii) strong background in cellular and molecular biology techniques (e.g., cell culture, PCR, Western blot, flow cytometry, and gene expression analysis) (iii) advanced computer proficiency (including Microsoft applications, SPSS, and experience with statistical or research software such as R, GraphPad Prism, or EndNote) (iv) solid experience in clinical laboratory work, research coordination, and project management (v) excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Chinese and (vi) strong self-motivation and the ability to work independently. Prior experience in accredited laboratory settings is highly preferred. Candidates with expertise in CAR-T cell therapy or organoid culture are particularly welcome to apply.
The appointee will work at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Shatin and provide support to the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Duties include (a) coordinating subject recruitment and overseeing clinical data collection (b) managing research coordination and assisting in project administration (c) leading or conducting laboratory experiments and performing advanced data analysis (d) preparing reports, research summaries, and contributing to manuscript writing and publication (e) collecting and handling samples from locations outside the Prince of Wales Hospital and (f) performing other duties as assigned.
Appointment will be made on contract basis for one year commencing as soon as possible.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is a public research university in Shatin, Hong Kong, formally established in 1963 by a charter granted by the Legislative Council of Hong Kong. It is the territory's second-oldest university and was founded as a federation of three existing colleges – Chung Chi College, New Asia College and United College – the oldest of which was founded in 1949.
