The Institute of Space and Earth Information Science (ISEIS) invites applications for the position of Research Assistant / Junior Research Assistant. The appointee will work under the supervision of Prof. Mei-Po Kwan and provide support to research projects in environmental health.
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree or above in Geography, Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, Social Sciences, or a related discipline (ii) excellent proficiency in both spoken and written Cantonese and English (iii) strong multi-tasking, organisational, and interpersonal skills (iv) a strong sense of responsibility and self-discipline and (v) the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
The appointee(s) will be responsible for (a) assisting in participant recruitment and communication (b) organising and conducting participant briefing sessions and data collection in the community (c) managing sensing equipment and questionnaires (d) supporting data entry and analysis and (e) performing general administrative duties and other tasks as assigned. Working outside normal office hours and during weekends may be required occasionally.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is a public research university in Shatin, Hong Kong, formally established in 1963 by a charter granted by the Legislative Council of Hong Kong.
