Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and driven Research Assistant/ Junior Research Assistant to support a faculty-wide project on medical.

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree or above (for Junior Research Assistant) Or a Master's degree (for Research Assistant) (ii) at least two years relevant experience in education/ linguistics/ language/ health (iii) a strong command of written and spoken English, Putonghua and Cantonese (iv) excellent analytical, multitasking, interpersonal and communication skills (v) a responsible, highly-motivated and conscientious work attitude (vi) the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team and (vii) experience in healthcare will be an advantage. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for IT, English and Putonghua/ Cantonese skill tests.

The appointee will be responsible for (a) providing research support and drafting simulated cases and reports (b) liaising with CUHK health professionals and students (c) developing communication skills assessments (d) liaising with the IT team for programme development and (e) performing other related tasks as assigned. Irregular working hours will be required occasionally.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to one year commencing on or after 29 June 2026, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
