Job Description

JD- General Banking Manager

Our client is a major bank in Hong Kong. It is seeking a high-calibre professional to join as General Banking Manager, to develop a wide-spectrum of retail banking product knowledge and pave way for further career development as Relationship Manager.

A structured training program will be offered.

Principal responsibilities

  • Provide quality customer service to retail customers in branch network
  • Proactively identify customer needs and offer appropriate banking services and solutions
  • Participate in promotional campaigns to acquire new business and strengthen customer loyalty
  • Maintain awareness of operational risks and adhere to relevant policies and guidelines
Requirements
  • University degree / Associate degree holders or HKCEE / HKDSE holders with at least 1 year of working experience in any industry, preferably in financial institution
  • Fresh graduates are welcome for entry-level
  • Relevant professional qualification in insurance and investment is an advantage
  • Strong service and sales orientation, self-motivated with good communication skills
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese, with proficiency in Putonghua an advantage
  • High level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers
  • Ability to manage complex interactions effectively
  • Shown strong situation awareness, strong desire to learn and able to work in Agile environment

  • Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage.
