Research Assistant I in the Department of Microbiology, School of Clinical Medicine(Ref.: 533429) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Public Health, Health Science, or a related discipline. Experience in conducting clinical studies would be an advantage. They should have a good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua) good communication and interpersonal skills knowledge of basic statistics proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and English and Chinese word processing. They should be a self-motivated and organized team player.

The appointee will be involved in conducting clinical studies, and the duties may include but not limited to recruiting study participants, collecting data, assisting in data analysis, and compiling reports. They will also participate in clinical research projects related to emerging infectious diseases, and perform other duties as assigned under the supervision of Professor Kelvin To.
